This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which donations may be refunded or cancelled.

1. Donations Are Final

All donations made to Hope Haven Charitable Trust are voluntary and non-refundable, as they are immediately put to work in ongoing community projects, development programs, and humanitarian efforts.

We therefore encourage donors to carefully verify the amount and purpose of their contribution before confirming any donation.

2. Donation Errors and Duplicate Transactions

In the event of:

  • A duplicate donation made due to a technical error, or
  • A transaction made in error (e.g., incorrect amount entered)

Please notify us within 7 working days of the transaction date.

Our team will review the case, and if the request is found valid, we will initiate a refund to the same account or payment method used for the donation.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days after verification.

  • Hope Haven Charitable Trust is not responsible for delays caused by banking institutions or payment gateways.

4. Cancellation of Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel future payments, please contact us at least 7 days before your next scheduled payment date.

5. Tax Receipts and Adjustments

If a refund is issued after a donation receipt (for tax purposes) has already been provided, the donor must return or void the original receipt, as per legal and accounting requirements.
